Navicom Dynamics has signed its first global support centre agreement in the United States, with current reseller Allison Instrumentation Group.

Allison Instrumentation Group supplies instrumentation, monitoring systems, marine hardware and on-site technical services to the offshore oil and gas and marine industries. The company has an established reputation working with leading oil and gas companies, engineering firms, piloting groups, shipyards and equipment manufacturers on major projects in the US, West Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean and Indonesia.

Allison Instrumentation Group will offer comprehensive in-market support to the North American maritime industry, and complete specific Navicom Dynamics-approved service and repairs locally. Allison’s will also service countries outside of North America, where required.

Navicom Dynamics Portable Pilot Units (PPUs) are used by marine pilots in more than 30 countries worldwide for everything from: confined and delicate berthing manoeuvres to night time and poor visibility navigation, channel pilotage, FPSO and SPM berthings, and many other related applications.

Navicom Dynamics launched its global support centre initiative to better support its worldwide client base, offering: same time-zone support, in-market service and repairs, and to act as a local stockist for hot-swaps and regularly used spares.
