A Production and Support Co-ordinator is required for a busy role working with a world leader in marine electronics.

As a result of the increasing global demand for our products and services and the projected growth of the business, we need an experienced Production & Support Co-ordinator to join our Albany based team. This role provides the opportunity for you to really get stuck in and become an integral member of our friendly team.

We manufacture low volume, high value, and often customized systems for the global market. You will be someone who is very keen to co-ordinate manufacturing activities by managing inventory, keeping optimal stock levels to meet the current and forecasted sales, scheduling production and support tasks (orders) and assuring our products are delivered to the end user without delays. Also, you will be a good communicator who is confident in liaising with various members of the team to establish upcoming stock requirements and chase progress.

This will involve the planning, scheduling and preparation of orders; the ordering of inventory as efficiently as possible; revise and reschedule orders when necessary; establish manufacturing effort by task and lead times; inventory control, engineering coordination; prepare reports and assign work to appropriate team members.

Experience in stock control and ideally the use of an ERP system and the following skills/experience:

  • Warehousing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation skills and ability to self-manage
  • Computer literate

Highly desirable skills:

  • Microsoft Project and enterprise grade resource/inventory management experience
  • Clear / clean drivers licence
  • Flexibility to fit in with a demanding and rapid production environment
  • Experience in developing systems & processes
  • Project planning experience in a technical environment.
